Not at all... There is some players, that play in warez version at first, and then bought a game on Impulse or Gamer's Gate. Official game has advantage - game updates available for apply as soon as we make it, and you support us. We tried fight with torrents and other P2P nets but as we see - it is useless. So we looked at this at new vision.

so what you say is, you outsourced the demo version to some shady sub contractor, who might or might not install unwanted software that takes over the control of my computer?

Not much worse then a game with SecuROM I guess  Cheesy

I think you are right. We don't know what exactly SecuRom transfer on remote server when validate the game.
